20 years have passed. Worlds have changed. Duel Monsters had grown more and more dangerous. One day, hell broke loose. Duel Monsters began to gain minds of their own. Suddenly a group of former duelists step up to tame the broken hooks. But something goes horribly wrong. Millennium items are suddenly more common then once thought. The original few became 20. New items sprang up. The gather of all the items sent a sudden wave, sending everyone back in time by roughly 25 years. But now, instead of what happened before, the new items are scattered. The original owners suddenly have the items back, along with any sealed souls. It seems fate has given a second chance to those who once failed. The villains are back, and worse then ever.
